Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Currently, we are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this newly created position:

Line Control Technician (Production Control/Planner- Contract)
Your Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other continuous improvement methodologies across production lines.
  • Analyze current production processes to identify areas for improvement and implementation strategies to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time and eliminate waste.
  • Collect and analyze production performance data, identify trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain standard work procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in production processes.
  • Collaborate closely with operations team to implement changes and improve overall plant performance.
  • Perform data analysis, define issues, and manage problem solving processes to ensure smooth flow in Manufacturing.
Your Profile
  • Diploma in Manufacturing/Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industry is preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools (5S, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab or similar software.
  • Strong problem solving skills, good analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently, minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities tasks effectively.
