Job Summary

Supermicro is looking for a Repair and Testing Technician to perform testing of defective products, identify needed repairs, and ensure quality control to commercial standards and customer needs. This position will be responsible for motherboard repair and test, add on card repair and test, backplane repair and test as well as ECO rework and BIOS upgrade. If you enjoy testing and troubleshooting, then this is the job for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform visuals inspection of products before testing to ensure readiness & compliance.
  • To conduct test and identifies defective components or areas and accurately log findings in the MA repair database.
  • Carry out Engineering Change Order (ECO) upgrades as required.
  • Follow supervisor\'s instruction and testing procedures.
  • Comply with standardized testing procedures and schedule to meet daily demand and quality targets.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environement.
  • Adhere to company and production department\'s policies and procedures.
  • Execute additional task or respoibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • A diploma holder in electronic or electrical engineering is a plus, however a candidate with a related certificate will also be considered.
  • Fundamental undertstanding of PC, System and server operation including basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in operating system such as Windows and/or Linux.
  • Skill is using diagnostic hand tools for hardware.
  • Capable of managing multi-task simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Proactive and collaborative team players with a constructive team players with a cons
  • Demosntrate reliabiliy, accountability and a strong sense of professional responsibility.
