AT&S, a world leading high‑tech PCB & IC Substrates Company, with production plants in Austria, China, India, Korea; and Sales Support Offices around the globe, is building its first production site in Southeast Asia: Kulim Hi‑Tech Park, Kedah, Malaysia. Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. To enable its successful growth, AT&S Malaysia offers excellent career opportunities for committed talents and professionals with the will to take ownership and make an impact. Currently, we are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this newly created position:
Support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other continuous improvement methodologies across production lines.
Analyze current production processes to identify areas for improvement and implementation strategies to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time and eliminate waste.
Collect and analyze production performance date, identify trends and procide actionable insights to support decision‑making.
Develop and maintain standard work procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in production processes.
Collaborate closely with operations team to implement changes and improve overall plant performance.
Peform data analysis, define issues, and manage problem solving proceses to ensure smooth flow in Manufacturing.
Diploma in Manufacturing/Business or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ working experiencein manufacturing or semiconductor industry is preferable
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools (5S, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping)
Proven track record of implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Data Analysis tools such as Excelm Minitab or similar software
Strong problem solving skills, good analytical skills
Able to work independently, minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities tasks effectively.
