Assistant Manager, Navigation Documentation

Manage, monitor, and control e-enabled aircraft data to ensure operational compliance.

1. Ensure quality and secure data distribution in compliance with policies and data security standards. Check the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) operational status against regulatory specifications. Perform domain administrator functions supporting the platform administrator in line with new aircraft technology recommendations by Airbus.
2. Manage and monitor EFB status and readiness for operations, ensuring compliance with CAAM Civil Aviation Directive (CAD) and managing EFB devices and data according to established processes and procedures.
3. Plan and provide training for support staff, enhancing skills and knowledge aligned with company digitalization efforts related to cockpit technology. Become an approved trainer for eOperations.
4. Provide first-level technical support for EFB-related issues daily, liaising with IT, Engineering Technical Services, and Line Maintenance for eOPS support. Manage manpower and resources for operations.
5. Participate in department projects and enhancement programs aligned with the ABP. Engage in contract renewal, budget planning, and procurement processes for EFB-related software, support, and device upgrades.

• Degree in Information Technology with 0-3 years’ experience or Diploma in Information Technology with 4 years’ experience in aviation regulation, documentation, and IT skills.
• Certificate in Aviation Management with 0-2 years’ experience.

• Understanding of data security standards and IT policies.
• Knowledge of EFB management.
• Knowledge of related aircraft monitoring systems and liaison.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for e-enabled aircraft operations and policies.

• Keeping up with rapid technological changes.
• Developing qualified personnel for specific tasks.
• Performing multitasking functions to support operations and departmental needs.
