About the Role

Driving software quality and efficiency within our organization

Designing test strategies, leading testing teams, and implementing best practices to enhance overall software quality.

What You’ll Do
Test Case Execution

Execute test cases based on project requirements and test plans.

Follow pre-designed test cases or develop own cases to test various functionalities of the bank’s digital mobile platform and other solutions.

Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality.

Document test results and report defects to the development team.

Assist in setting up and maintaining testing environments and testing automation tools by administering configuration and troubleshooting tasks.

Defect Tracking and Reporting

Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems.

Provide detailed defect reports to assist developers in understanding and resolving issues. Communicate bugs clearly and concisely, providing detailed information for easy understanding and resolution.

Collaborate with the team to verify bug fixes and ensure the closure of reported issues.

Regression and Performance Testing

Conduct regression testing to ensure that new software changes do not adversely affect existing functionality, and perform performance testing to ensure the solution platform can withstand high workloads.

Develop and maintain regression/performance test suites for different software applications.

Test Documentation

Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of test plans and test strategies.

Update test cases status, log testing efforts and maintain testing artefacts.

Work closely with engineers, product managers, testing providers, system integrators and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.

Analyze and clarify testing requirements with project managers, product team and engineers.

Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress, challenges, and potential improvements.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns.

Automation Support

Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts. Collaborate with automation engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation.

Adherence to Quality Standards

Ensure adherence to established quality standards and processes.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

What We’re Seeking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System or a related field preferred; or with equivalent work experience together with professional certifications
  • Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus. Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a software testing team, with some experience related to end‑to‑end testing for large scale and major technology prospect projects. Experienced in test planning, test design, and test execution
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to high quality
  • Excellent analytics and problem‑solving skills Knowledge of version control systems and continuous integration tools
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
  • Good domain knowledge of digital banking front‑end or core banking applications
  • Experience in managing testing on digital platforms will be an added advantage
  • Good cross‑department communication and coordination skills, with an inquisitive mindset to ensure project implementation according to requirements in complex business and environmental situations
