An agribusiness group in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide financial leadership and strengthen governance. Responsibilities include leading financial strategy, managing capital structure, overseeing statutory reporting, and developing the finance team. Candidates should have a professional accounting qualification and senior finance leadership experience in a public company, ideally within agribusiness. This is a crucial role to support growth initiatives across operations.
Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
- Experience in senior finance leadership in a public company.
- Expertise in agribusiness or food production sectors is essential.

- Lead financial strategy, budgeting, and performance management.
- Drive costing and margin analysis across operations.
- Oversee statutory reporting and corporate governance.

Education
A well-established agribusiness group is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide financial leadership, strengthen governance, and support growth initiatives across integrated operations.
- Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
- Drive costing, margin analysis, and cost control across farming and processing operations
- Oversee statutory reporting, Bursa Malaysia compliance, and corporate governance
- Manage capital structure, financing facilities, and banking relationships
- Lead capital expenditure planning, funding initiatives, and cash flow management
- Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisition, and investment opportunities
- Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and financial systems
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Senior finance leadership experience in a public listed company
- Experience in livestock, poultry, aquaculture, agribusiness or food production
- Strong expertise in operational costing, capital management, and financial analysis
- Proven exposure to banking relationships, funding, and M&A activities
- High integrity, discretion, and board-level communication skills
