A manufacturing company in Selangor, Malaysia is looking for a Junior Account Executive / Senior Account Assistant. The role involves handling daily accounting entries, preparing invoices, and monitoring accounts receivable. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance, with 1-3 years of experience preferred, although fresh graduates with strong internship experience may apply. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is important, along with good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Handle daily accounting entries including AR/AP, bank transactions, and general ledger updates.
Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, and credit notes in a timely manner.
Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable and ensure timely collection.
Process vendor invoices, staff claims, and payments with proper documentation and approvals.
Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and petty cash.
Maintain accurate and organized filing of accounting documents and records.
Liaise with internal departments for cost allocations, inventory movements, and production costing.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, taxation requirements, and internal controls.
Support audit andtake exercises when required.

Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or food industry environment.
Fresh graduates with strong internship experience will be considered for Junior role.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or Netsuite).
Knowledge of SST, basic costing, and inventory accounting is an added advantage.
Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.
Able to work under tight deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
