The role requires at least 1-2 years of relevant experience and a minimum qualification of SPM with a Certificate in Accounting. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at the Johor Bahru branch (Taman Molek). This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, responsible, and able to handle day-to-day accounting functions efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
Manage general day to day accounting function and duties such as Account Payable (AP), Account Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).
Match supplier invoices with purchase orders (POs) and input them into the accounting system.
Ensure timely scheduling and preparation of payments to suppliers.
Prepare and process AP payment record of all customer payments in the cash book on daily basis.
Record all customer payments in the cash book on daily basis.
Assist in month-end closing activities.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superiors.
Minimum SPM with Certificate in Accounting or related field.
At least 1-2 years' relevant working experience.
Strong attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to multitask.
Strong coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
