As our Architect, you will be crucial in overseeing physical business development projects from concept to completion, adhering to the Decathlon concept and local regulations.
- Conceptualize and developdetailed, sustainable designs for new stores or other physical touchpoints, modernizations, and relocations.
- Ensure both theinterior and exteriordesigns align with theDecathlon identity, technical standards, and functionalities, while optimizing land usage and creating a comfortable environment.
- Design withoperating costs, building investments, sustainable energy, and CO2 targetsin mind.
- Understand and applylocal planning and safety regulations.
- Prepareblueprints and technical drawings.
- Manage the architectural realizationof projects, including guiding tenders, negotiating design services, and producing detailed2D technical drawings, 3D models, and illustrations.
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Conductregular site visitsas the site supervisor tomonitor construction progress and quality.
- Resolve technical issues and ensure work complies with the design intent and regulations.
- Ensure alignment withefficiency of the sqm principles(e.g., ratio sales area / GIA).
- Collaborate with global and local actors to implementgreen building design, urban mobility, and waste managementinitiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with local authority processes, includingUBBL and BOMBA requirements.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, specifications, and construction materials.
- Coordinate statutory submissionsand process necessary permits.
- Preparetender, construction, shop, and as-built drawings.
