We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Executive / Senior Executive to join our Group Legal team. This role is responsible for protecting the Group's legal interests by providing sound legal advice, minimizing legal risk, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be involved in reviewing and drafting agreements, managing legal documentation, supporting negotiations, and working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

• Stay abreast with the latest developments in laws, regulations, and case law related to business and operation.
• Raise awareness of the Group’s personnel on legal developments through training.
• Draft and review policies and procedures to set corporate standards; guide units on relevant laws, compliance, and integrity matters.
• Provide timely, high‑quality legal advice to business units and support functions.
• Review agreements, letters of appointment, undertaking letters, etc., to protect the Group’s interests.
• Support units in negotiations of agreements and legal matters with counterparties.
• Initiate process improvements for the department’s operations, e.g., preparing template agreements for adoption.
• Manage external lawyers’ performance and costs; monitor cases handled.

Education: Degree in Law; certification in compliance, integrity, or anti‑money laundering (AML) is an added advantage.

Experience: 2–3 years in private practice and in‑house legal department. Experience with public listed companies in compliance, integrity, or AML is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical mind and acute business sense.
• Excellent time‑management, organizational, planning, and drafting skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Team player who works independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
