A leading insurance provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Finance and Human Capital initiatives. The successful candidate must possess at least 10 years of project management experience in the finance sector, preferably with Oracle EBS or Fusion Cloud ERP. The candidate is required to lead Finance, Human Capital and Investments related initiatives and extend BAU support for on-going or new applications post the implementation.
Lead, manage and drive the Finance related initiatives and BAU support for Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
Manage the BAU support for Finance across all regional entities after Project Go-Live
Ensure alignment of the project deliverables with overall IT Strategy
Drives project workshop sessions and discussions to translate all business requirements into actionable technology deliverables for project and BAU.
Enforce compliance of project deliveries to comply with applicable policies, governance, standards, control and regulatory expectations/requirements
Build partnership and collaboration between BU, Technology and vendors to achieve synergy during implementation
Drive continuous improvement and employee satisfaction of Finance applications post Project Go-Live
Drive issue and defects managements and resolution across IT, users and vendors
Manage multiple deliverables concurrently to different business group while fostering strong users and customer relationship
Manage relationship with vendor, users, and internal IT teams to manage issues and enhancements
Work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the organisation’s culture and conduct environment that is aligned to the organization’s Core Values
Lead and manage a team of Business Analyst and/or Software Engineers to meet business requirements, functions, performance, and governance
Champion culture and conduct behavioural expectations within the Department/Division.
Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
We are looking for people who
Tertiary education required
A team player who never takes “no” for an answer
Minimum 10 years of project management or delivery experience from finance industry, with at least one project in the Finance domain
Extremely experience or familiar with Oracle Enterprise Suite of products, both on premise or cloud
Passionate on driving changes and proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy, and with a can-do attitude
A fast thinker who remains agile, adaptive and savy when under stress
Certification or formal training in project management is an advantage
Self-starter and fast learner with excellent leadership and team building skills
General knowledge of business processes, data flows, risk management and compliance
Possess strong planning, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Demonstrates alignment with the organisation’s core values through expected behaviours.
