Job summary

A leading global manufacturing company in Ipoh is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support quality-related matters and enhance QC procedures. The role involves reporting to the QA Manager, evaluating processes, and participating in product quality improvement projects. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering, preferably with experience in high-volume manufacturing and knowledge of mechanical drawings. This position requires adaptability and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering preferably in Mechatronics or Electronics.
• Experience managing quality procedures in manufacturing.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Report to QA Manager and assess QC procedures.
• Own QA product/process health indicators.
• Analyze QA/Test and Process failures for corrective actions.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for quality improvement.
• Provide technical evaluation and NPI support.

• To assess and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of QC procedures.
• Own QA product/process health indicators and DPPM reports and analyze QA/Test and Process failures to drive systematic corrective actions.
• Involve in cross‑functional teams for product quality and reliability improvement projects/changes in both start‑up and sustaining activities.
• Responsible for technical evaluation and NPI support

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics / Electronics

Skills

• Experience managing quality‑related matters.
• Understand mechanical drawings and GD&T, CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, e‑drawing).
• Basic SPC knowledge.
• Adaptable and flexible.
• Experience working in high‑volume manufacturing, and/or assembly test, SMT, environment.
