A business consulting firm is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to work on mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in IT, at least 2 years of experience in mobile app development, and strong skills in React Native. We work with high growth companies and entrepreneurs seeking to raise equity capital as well as commercialise products, services and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, code, and implement mobile apps (IOS/ Android/ Harmony OS/ React Native)
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams with the project manager backend developer, business analyst, the UI/UX team,
- Continually update application development technical documentation
- Run integration and unit tests for developed apps.
- Provision of technical advice to various business units
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or another related discipline
- 2+ years of experience developing mobile applications
- A track record of successfully completing on-time, high-quality mobile application deliveries in an agile setting.
- Strong in React Native
- Experience in submitting apps to the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store
- Knowledge of database design
- Knowledge of cloud architecture.
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Being familiar with test-driven programming and automated unit testing is an advantage.
- Understanding of version control
- Excellent teamwork and communication
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
