Job summary
A leading consumer goods company in Malaysia is searching for an experienced Supply Planner to manage the inventory flow of OEM products. In this pivotal role, you will generate purchasing templates, oversee shipment performance, and collaborate with Demand Planners to launch new products seamlessly. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management. Join us in a critical role that influences our operational excellence.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years in supply chain/planning experience, preferably in the related industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

- Generate order templates and issue purchase requisitions.

- Ensure new products launch with healthy stock levels.
- Act as a key link between Marketing, Sales, and Operations.

We are looking for a Supply Planner to bridge the gap between our suppliers and our regional branches, ensuring our products are always in the right place at the right time.
You will be the heartbeat of our inventory flow; managing the replenishment of OEM products across all regions to maintain perfect stock levels and high customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
- Inventory Mastermind: Generate order templates and issue purchase requisitions to keep warehouses stocked and ready.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor shipments, track supplier performance, and resolve supply constraints (like production delays or quality issues) quickly.
- Strategic Launching: Partner with Demand Planners to ensure new products launch with healthy stock levels from Day 1.
- Relationship Builder: Act as the key link between Marketing, Sales, and Operations, while hosting monthly meetings with external vendors to ensure supply reliability.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years in supply chain/planning (experience in our industry is a huge plus!).
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office; experience with integrated planning software is an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
You will have the autonomy to manage Purchase Requisitions and stock exceptions directly, playing a critical role in our company's growth and operational excellence.
