Responsibilities

• Involve in purchasing activities including issuing Purchase Orders and Requisitions.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods ordered.
• Update SAP MRP database to ensure accurate information.
• Review safety stock decisions and update on usage evolution.
• Involve in supplier selection and evaluation.
• Monitor commodities to ensure sufficient stock.
• Maintain proper records of purchases, quotations, and supplier information.
• Liaise with shipping department on import shipments.
• Coordinate with finance on invoicing issues.

SUMMARY OF JOB

To involve in purchasing activities including issue Purchase Order and Purchase Requisition, Request For Quote, etc.

To follow up with supplier to ensure timely delivery of goods ordered.

To update SAP MRP database timely to ensure system has accurate info.

To review safety stock decisions and timely update on usage evolution.

To involve in supplier selection and evaluation process.

To monitor commodity to ensure sufficient stock.

To maintain a proper record of purchase, quotation and suppliers information.

To liaise with shipping department on materials import shipment.

To coordinate and support finance if there is invoicing issue from suppliers.

To carry out other duties as and when directed by the Management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED

Degree in any discipline with good command of English.
