Job summary

A leading FMCG company in Kota Damansara is looking for a professional to develop customer partnerships and drive sales growth. The role requires a diploma or degree in Business or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry. Key responsibilities include negotiating agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and executing marketing strategies. The successful candidate will need strong communication skills and be willing to travel for trade visits and international shows.

Job description

Location: Kota Damansara, PJ

Job Responsibilities
  • To develop strong and collaborative partnerships with assigned customers with the goal of growing the business.
  • Accountable for customer's sales (both volume and turnover), trade spend and P&L.
  • To negotiate agreements with customers in line with company's policies and customer's objectives and monitor roll-out and investment compliance.
  • To fulfil customer's demand in accordance to promotional calendar and achieve internal forecast accuracy.
  • To set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed.
  • To assist Export Manager in developing new market and maintaining existing clients.
  • To execute marketing strategies and activities for sales growth, expansion of market shares as well as new business development.
  • To meet customer satisfaction by providing efficient customer service including technical sales functions, handling and follow up on enquiries or complaints, preparation of quotation, payment monitoring etc..
  • To coordinate with operation team to ensure order and shipment ready on time in order to fulfil customer’s requirement.
  • To coordinate exhibition related issue (coordinate with organizer and supplier to manage the booth set up, pack samples and recipe testing).
  • To perform any other duties with efficiency and in a timely manner as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma, Degree, or professional qualification in Business/ Food Science / Food Technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry or in Export sales.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Willing to travel abroad for trade visits & international trade shows if required.
