Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is looking for a Production Manager in Melaka, Malaysia. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and possess over 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating production processes, and leading teams. Excellent communication and team management skills are essential. Qualifications
- More than 7 years’ experience, with 5 years in supervisory roles within the semiconductor industry (Wire bonding process).
- Familiar with management systems, statistical techniques, equipment knowledge, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and control production processes.
- Draw up production schedules and monitor processes.
- Supervise and motivate production teams.
Skills
Education
- Responsible in the overall aspects include planning, coordination and control of the operations or production processes.
- Drawing up a production schedule, monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Provide necessary support to engineering as need arises.
- Fulfill output target, quality target and maintenance cost budget.
- Participate in new process application and execution of process.
- Coordinate activities related to all production processes.
- To strengthen and enhance the procedures process.
- Supervising and motivating all production teams.
- Communication with production planning department on delivery issues.
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or related disciplines.
- More than 7 years’ working experience, preferably with 5 years of supervisory experience in semiconductor industry (Wire bonding process).
- Familiar with management systems, core tools, statistical techniques, equipment & tools knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Team management skills.
- Must be willing to work in Melaka.
