Job Purpose
We are seeking talented candidates to oversee software development projects, transition vendor‑managed applications to in‑house control, and ensure seamless integration with backend systems. This position combines technical oversight, project coordination, and IT support to maintain operational efficiency while driving strategic technology initiatives. The candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring timely delivery, quality outputs, and robust IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
A. Project Oversight & Coordination
- Track development progress against timelines and goals.
- Act as liaison between project owner and development team for clarity and accountability.
- Validate task estimates and deliverables for feasibility.
- Maintain documentation, change logs, and milestone tracking.
B. Technical Review & Risk Monitoring
- Conduct high‑level reviews of technical outputs.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and misalignments early.
- Escalate issues promptly with supporting evidence.
C. Team & Workflow Management
- Coordinate stand‑ups, sprint planning, and progress reviews.
- Assign tasks, monitor completion, and resolve blockers.
- Ensure proper issue tracking and QA coverage.
D. Stakeholder Communication
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and resource needs.
- Manage developer communications and deliverable reviews.
- Assist in preparing technical briefs, requirements, and user guides.
E. Office IT & Systems Support
- Maintain office IT infrastructure (computers, printers, internet, shared drives).
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support to team members.
- Set up user accounts, email systems, and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack).
- Ensure backups, secure access, and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware/software needs.
Candidate Recruitment
1. Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Technical Competencies
- React Native experience and familiarity with web technologies.
- Knowledge of backend APIs, authentication mechanisms, and EV charging protocols (e.g., OCPP).
- Ability to refactor vendor code and migrate development from vendor to in‑house.
- Familiarity with common stacks: web/mobile frameworks, APIs, and databases.
- DevOps experience for CI/CD, deployments, and version control.
- Ability to lead SAP development initiatives.
3. Core Responsibilities
- Refactor vendor code (React Native frontend).
- Modify or bypass proprietary OMNI layer (may involve reverse engineering).
- Integrate directly with CSMS.
- Maintain and develop web/mobile apps concurrently with vendors:
- KINETA Charge: React & React Native
- CSS: Bubble (No‑Code)
- OneCharge: TBD
- Assume project ownership for architecture, feature planning, and codebase evolution.
4. Project Management Skills
- Proficient in tools like Jira, Asana, Trello, or ClickUp.
- Experience supporting Agile/Scrum teams and managing timelines.
- Skilled in task organization, progress reporting, and ensuring deliverables.
5. IT Support & Systems Knowledge
- Hands‑on experience with office IT systems: network setup, hardware/software troubleshooting, email, printers, and cloud platforms.
- Basic knowledge of IT security, data backups, user account management, and remote work tools (VPNs, cloud drives).
- Ability to liaise with third‑party vendors when required.
6. Soft Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Assertive, detail‑oriented, and capable of enforcing accountability.
- 3–5 years in a dual role combining software project support and IT coordination.
