Responsibilities

The Drafter Engineer is responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, 2D/3D models, and technical documentation based on design specifications. This role supports engineers throughout the design, development, and production process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient project execution.
- Technical Drafting – Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on engineering designs, sketches or specifications.
- Update and revise drawings according to changes in project requirements.
- Work closely with engineers, architects and project teams to ensure designs meet functional and safety requirements.
- Attend design meetings and provide technical input where required.
- Ensure all drawings follow company standards, industry codes and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain organised filing and record‑keeping for all drawing files and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, bills of materials (BOM) and assembly drawings.
- Support production, construction or manufacturing teams with technical drawings as needed.
- Check and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
- Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project schedules.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or a relevant Engineering field.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar).
- Knowledge of engineering standards, drafting conventions and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
