Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee payroll operations, prepare management reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Candidates must have at least 15 years of experience in a related role within the manufacturing sector. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. This is a high-pressure role that requires excellent multitasking abilities and independent working skills.
Qualifications
- At least 15 years of relevant working experience in a Finance related position.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing and assisting in payroll support and operations.
- Prepare accurate management reports and timely submission of taxes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
Skills
Education
- Responsible for preparing and assisting in payroll support, general administrative duties and daily operations.
- To prepare accurate and timely management report.
- Timely submission of general tax, monthly Goods and SST and other statutory compliances.
- Supervise accounting staffs for general accounting functions.
- Checking and verification of invoices to ensure accuracy in data entries.
- Assist in developing and reviewing internal operating policies and procedures, inventory and costs control periodically.
- Responsible for the preparation of budget and financial forecast.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Perform operational and financial analysis reports.
- Review and advise management on key performance indicators.
- Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts.
- To perform expenses/overhead, sales and cost analysis and working capital analysis.
- To ensure the business always has adequate liquidity with cashflow and balance sheet analysis.
- Prepare costing, monthly debtor aging report and debtor statement.
- To promptly submit accurate weekly report to the Management team.
- Ensure effectiveness of filing and daily operation system.
- To perform any other assignment as and when required by the Management.
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- At least 15 years (for Degree Holders) of relevant working experience in a Finance related position in a Manufacturing Industry is required for this position.
