Payroll Specialist (10 Months Contract) - Maternity Cover

Responsibilities
  • Provide monthly payroll data to payroll outsourcing company
  • Collaborate with Department Heads to obtain monthly/quarterly bonus information to be processed during the month
  • Prepare payroll monthly report for HoHR’s checking
  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
  • Ensure all statutory payments are paid on time
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
  • Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer’s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments
  • Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
  • Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
  • Insurance registration for new employees and removal for leavers
  • Update all new joiner, transfers, leavers information into the Workday system
  • Person in Charge to liaise with third party for expatriate management (EP application, visa, dependent pass, etc.)
  • Assist expatriate on their queries regarding school and accommodation search, prepare them with local statutory registration (income tax registration, bank account opening, PERKESO registration and tax clearance process)
Qualifications
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in Payroll system
  • Minimum Diploma holder in related field
  • Able to work on a 10 months contract basis
  • Must be independent, diligent and has great attention to detail
  • Highly responsible and committed to completing work within given timeframe
