Digital Media Strategist
Purpose of the Role:
The Digital Media Strategist is a client-facing role focused on managing successful digital media campaigns, requiring expertise in Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display.
As a Digital Media Strategist, you will proactively manage campaigns and collaborate with internal teams such as Media Analysts and Ad Operations, from media plan creation to campaign launch. You will implement strategies and optimizations throughout each campaign, integrating Amadeus products (Business Intelligence & Reservation) to meet client goals efficiently and cost-effectively. You will also present reports and recommendations based on campaign insights. Success in this role demands a deep understanding of the client's properties and the hotel industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of client needs and build trusting relationships.
- Conduct conference calls with high-value clients regarding campaign performance and suggest modifications to improve results, providing analysis and commentary for reports.
- Research and develop strategies and media plans, identify target audiences, and recommend budgets and media channels.
- Suggest new products and re-allocate or grow budgets for existing clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends through trade publications, newspapers, and websites, and assess their impact on the client’s business.
- Manage client onboarding and renewal processes.
- Collaborate with Analysts to draft ad copy and keywords, obtaining client approval.
- Set up campaigns and tracking workflows.
- Manage creative development and obtain client approval.
- Establish deadlines to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure all campaigns launch successfully and meet quality SLAs.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Proficiency in online and social media advertising.
- Hands-on experience managing digital media campaigns through Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, or relevant channels.
- Experience in a client-facing role, with a passion for innovation, strategy, and building positive customer relationships.
- Professional representation of Amadeus at meetings and calls.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge or experience in Hotel Marketing, Hospitality, or Tourism is a plus.
- Relevant degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Business Intelligence, Statistics, or Finance is preferred.
