Meet requests from Head, Regional Equity Research, Heads, Regional Sector and Senior Research Analysts and provide strong research support to Group Wholesale Banking and Group Investment Banking revenue pillars.

Assist in the coverage of sectors and stocks in the home country, as assigned by the Head, Regional Equity Research:

• Active monitoring of the micro and macro factors affecting the sector(s) and stocks.
• Assist in the gathering and analysis of industry and market data.
• Contribute to the generation of investment ideas on sectors/stocks including identifying sales/trading opportunities.
• Assist to write research reports on key investment ideas in a timely manner.
• Assist in production/coordination of research publications and organisation of conferences.

Research associates, subject to performance, may be transitioned to a Research Analyst role:

• This will require successful completion of local regulatory exams (if any), and meeting of local regulatory requirements for licensing. With the licence, Research Analysts are allowed to include their names in research reports, and will be held accountable for the recommendation on the companies covered.

All Members Of The Research Team, Including Associates Must

• Display teamwork to achieve a coherent research product.
• Work closely with other Board Members and other senior management personnel at all times to develop RHB’s research product and brand.
• Ensure compliance of all legal and regulatory requirements to achieve a high standard of integrity for RHB’s research team and product.

Key Shared Accountabilities

• Assist RHB Investment Bank in evaluating potential initial public offerings and corporate deals.
• Collaborate with related departments in Group Investment Banking, including ECM, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Client Coverage teams.

Support and collaborate with Group Research departments, including Economic Research and Fixed Income, Currencies and Rates Research.
