SS Pulp Sdn. Bhd., a pioneer in sustainable pulp and paper production using oil palm empty fruit bunches (EFB), is seeking a dynamic and proactive Marketing Executive. The role involves supporting marketing and sales initiatives to promote eco-friendly EFB pulp products to local and international clients. The Marketing Executive will handle market research, customer engagement, branding activities, and sales coordination to strengthen the company’s market presence and contribute to its growth in the sustainable materials sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote sustainable EFB pulp products.
- Prepare marketing materials such as brochures, product specifications, presentations, and digital content.
- Engage with potential buyers, distributors, and industry stakeholders to promote EFB pulp products.
- Identify market trends, new customer segments, and emerging opportunities in eco-friendly pulp markets.
- Maintain customer information, track leads, and ensure timely responses to clients.
- Assist in developing proposals, tender documents, and commercial presentations.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure accurate product information is delivered to customers.
- Assist in providing customer feedback to internal departments for product improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
- Candidate without academic qualification but with 3-5 years marketing exposure in sustainable materials, pulp & paper, chemical industry, or manufacturing is encouraged to apply.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships or project experience with great interest in sustainable materials, pulp & paper, chemical industry, or manufacturing are encouraged to apply for consideration as Marketing officer position.
- Candidate able to speak Mandarin is preferable as the work needs to deal with Chinese speaking customers.
Technical Skills & Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, brand communication, and customer relationship management.
- Ability to create marketing content and technical product briefs.
- Good analytical skills for market research, competitor analysis, and pricing insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with digital marketing tools is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of B2B marketing or industrial products is beneficial.
