The Manager, Performance & Reward is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company’s performance management, remuneration and reward framework to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, regulatory compliance and alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives. The role drives a high‑performance culture while ensuring accountability, transparency and strong governance as required of a public‑listed company.
Performance Management
- Develop and enhance the Group’s Performance Management System (PMS), defining KPIs, OKRs and behavioural competencies.
- Lead the end‑to‑end annual and mid‑year performance review cycles, ensuring 100% on‑time completion.
- Provide expert guidance to HODs on KPI setting and rating calibration to ensure consistency, fairness and transparency across the Group.
- Analyze performance data to identify talent gaps, coaching needs and succession readiness.
- Oversee the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process for underperformers.
Compensation, Benefits & Governance
- Conduct annual salary benchmarking and recommend competitive structures (50th–75th percentile) aligned with Malaysian market data.
- Manage the annual merit increase, promotion adjustments and bonus cycles.
- Prepare strategic papers for the Remuneration Committee (RC) and Board regarding executive pay, bonus budgets and incentive plans.
- Lead job grading exercises using established methodologies (e.g., Mercer, Hay).
- Ensure strict adherence to the Employment Act 1955, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Income Tax Act, SOCSO and EPF regulations.
Incentive Planning & Variable Pay
- Design and monitor variable pay schemes, including sales commissions, project incentives and Long‑Term Incentive Plans (LTIP/ESOS).
- Perform quarterly audits on incentive payouts to ensure ROI and financial alignment.
Reward Analytics & Reporting
- Collaborate with Finance for precise budgeting of salary, bonus and benefits.
- Support ESG/Sustainability reporting regarding pay equity and diversity metrics.
Policy, Communication & Change Management
- Develop and standardise HR policies across all subsidiaries.
- Act as the lead communicator for reward initiatives, conducting briefings to ensure employee buy‑in and manager capability.
- Identify inefficiencies in daily operations and suggest improvement proposals where possible.
- Deliver results within the value system of EITA.

Qualification
- Degree in HR, Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in C&B, rewards or performance management.
- Prior experience in a public‑listed company or MNC preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Mercer/Hay job evaluation certification are an advantage.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking.
- Excellent stakeholder and conflict management.
- Business acumen and ability to work with C‑suite.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess own transport and willing to work at Bukit Raja, Klang.
Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and Bursa Malaysia HR governance.
- Compensation design and job evaluation frameworks.
- Proficiency in HR analytics, Excel and HRIS.
- Understanding of financial modelling and incentive plan design.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills (RC & Board level).
