Job summary
A global logistics company in Penang seeks candidates for a cargo handling role involving loading/unloading, inventory management, and safety compliance. Fluency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, along with good mathematical skills, are essential. The ideal candidate will help ensure proper documentation and system transactions for goods movement.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of warehousing/logistics background preferred.
- Must be able to write good Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Responsibilities
- Perform cargo loading and unloading functions.
- Conduct physical verification and tallying against documents.
- Store cargoes in assigned locations and correct zones.
- Support Physical Inventory and Internal Cycle Count.

- To preform cargo loading and unloading function. 2. To preform physical verification and tallying against documents, and surface inspection upon cargo receiving or delivery. 3. To store cargoes in proper location assigned and at the correct warehouse zone. 4. To preform cargo issuances based on pick ticket. 5. To ensure retrieval of goods is based on location, part number, quantity and pallet. 6. ID stated in the pick ticket. 7. To preform general housekeeping and safety compliance. 8. To ensure all work/duties perform are in accordance to the SOP’s and process compliance. 9. To ensure proper system transaction to tally with goods movement. 10. To support Physical Inventory and Internal Cycle Count as and when required.
- Minimum PMR (Passed), SPM preferred. 2. Knowledge of warehousing/logistics background preferred. 3. Must able to speak fluent Bahasa Malaysia and English. 4. Must be able to write good Bahasa Malaysia and English. 5. Good mathematical skill is required.
