A leading fashion retailer in Malaysia is seeking a General Manager to drive commercial performance and oversee operations in retail and eCommerce. This role requires a seasoned leader with 10-15 years of experience in fashion retail, proven P&L ownership, and a strong command of Mandarin due to regional supplier communication. Responsibilities include developing growth strategies, managing multi-store operations, and leading a high-performing team across various functions. Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate the complex retail landscape.
The company is a fast-growing fashion retailer, focused on delivering premium, trend-driven apparel through an online-to-offline model. With a strong presence in offline retail and a growing eCommerce footprint, the company is observing rapid growth globally. The business operates a network of strategically located stores across high-traffic malls, urban centers, and suburban hubs, supported by its own website and marketplace partners.
The General Manager (GM) will lead the end-to-end business for this fast-growing fashion retail brand, responsible for driving commercial performance, retail excellence/expansion, inventory strategy and omnichannel growth. This role oversees P&L delivery, merchandising, store operations, eCommerce, marketing, supply chain and people leadership in Malaysia and Thailand. This role will be expected to work closely with the international expansion team of the brand.
