Job summary

A financial services group in Malaysia is seeking an Executive Officer for Climate Data & Analytics to enhance their climate data infrastructure. Job Description

He/She will support in the following areas:

  • Maintain a climate data and analytics infrastructure for the Group and/or entities
  • Harmonise climate-related metrics and data collection processes across the Group including maintaining a library of metrics, definitions and sources
  • Obtain, process, structure, analyse and maintain climate data from internal and external sources for various purposes such as internal risk reporting, regulatory climate scenario analysis/stress testing, external sustainability disclosures, etc
  • support and execute new initiatives and/or process improvements (e.g. sandbox, structured query language) to enhance the efficiency and quality of the climate data and analytics infrastructure and to ensure compliance with the most up to date regulatory requirements & market standards relating to climate risk management
  • prepare presentations, reports and/or analysis for purposes of communicating the Group’s climate risk performance and progress to internal and external stakeholders
