Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing and managing daily operations of the accounting department, including:
  • Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end account reporting
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Payroll and utilities management
  • Budgeting and forecast monitoring
  • Financial reporting
  • Cash flow management
  • Stock balance record accuracy and stock level monitoring
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Assist in coordinating with external auditors during annual audits and addressing any audit findings.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, ensuring they follow established financial policies and procedures.
• Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Prepare financial performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
  

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in financial & accounting roles, with experience in manufacturing being an advantage.
• Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems is an added advantage.

Salary Range:

• RM5,000 RM7,000 (open to discussdepending on experience and qualifications)
