A global technology company is seeking a Junior Sales Operations Analyst based in Penang. This role involves managing real-time operations and supporting planning and forecasting for both EMEA and APAC regions. Candidates should have a university degree, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities include verifying backlog data and preparing reports to assist regional directors. A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Sales Operations Forecast & Planning team is a part of Sales organization and focuses on supporting the sales team primarily with preparing their sales plan/forecast, verifying the results, and managing opportunities. Team works closely with various departments within Motorola to support sales in achieving their orders and sales goals (Sales, Finance, Project, Supply chain, Strategy etc).
Based in our Penang hub, the Junior Sales Operations Analyst will be an integral part of the Sales Operations team, providing critical analytical support for both the APAC and EMEA regions.
In this role, you will manage real-time operations for the APAC market while ensuring that all EMEA reporting and backlog management are completed and ready for European stakeholders at the start of their business day.
Support the planning and forecasting teams for both the EMEA and APAC regions.
Regularly verify and clear backlog data across both regions to ensure global data integrity.
Create and distribute regular backlog reports. Prepare actual performance results for regional leadership in both APAC and EMEA.
Maintain and develop reporting tools for Orders, Sales, and other business-critical information.
Collaborate with the wider Sales Operations organization, providing coverage for team members across regions and managing ad-hoc tasks as required.
Prepare ad-hoc reports to assist regional directors in identifying sales trends and operational bottlenecks.
