Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimates and manage project finances. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and 7-10 years of experience in related projects. Strong knowledge of cost control and Malaysian construction standards is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software like Cost X will be advantageous. Join a dynamic team to contribute to major projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in QS role within EPC/EPCM projects.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Monitor project costs and prepare financial reports.
- Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises.
- Liaise on commercial matters.
