We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at AL HUSNA GEMILANG SDN. BHD in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This full-time position is responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and financial reporting support to our growing organisation.
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow reports
- Maintaining general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies
- Providing analytical support and financial insights to management
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax regulations
- Proficient in use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention to detail skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
