Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at AL HUSNA GEMILANG SDN. BHD in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This full-time position is responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and financial reporting support to our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow reports
• Maintaining general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies
• Providing analytical support and financial insights to management
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax regulations
• Proficient in use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention to detail skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
