The Job:
Are you passionate about UK agriculture and experienced in selling to farmers? We're seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team, assisting farmers across Hertfordshire to maximize yields and grow their businesses.
As Sales Manager, you will be the primary expert for fertilisers, crop protection products, and seed solutions. Your role involves building strong relationships with local farmers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored agronomic support and commercial advice.
Key Responsibilities:
The Company:
A well-established agribusiness based in the East of England, this independent arable merchant offers agrochemicals, seed, fertiliser, and grain trading services. Known for its personal yet professional approach, the company supports growers with expert agronomic advice and maintains a strong local presence, backed by in-house trials and industry partnerships.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in agricultural sales, preferably in fertilisers, crop protection, or seeds
- Strong agronomic knowledge and understanding of UK arable and/or mixed farming systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and target-driven
- FACTS and/or BASIS qualifications, or willingness to obtain them
- Full UK driving license
