Regional Marketing Assistant - Wholesale & Retail Industry (Must have Drivers License and a National Diploma in Marketing)

PLEASE NOTE: This is a SENIOR level position. The company is based in Aeroton, South of Johannesburg.

Are you currently (or very recently) a Marketing Assistant WITHIN the Retail or FMCG industry? Do you have 5 to 7 YEARS (or more) experience as a Marketing Assistant and Marketing Coordinator WITHIN the Retail or Fashion Retail or FMCG Industry? Do you have advanced MS Office skills (including Excel and PowerPoint)? Have you completed a relevant Degree or 3 Year Diploma? Do you have a valid drivers license and your own car (you will be required to visit the various stores)?

1. Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and campaigns.
2. Assist in brainstorming and executing creative campaigns (e.g., festive promotions or new product launches).
3. Support the planning and execution of events and trade shows.
4. Work on logistics, promotional materials, and on-site coordination.
5. Prepare, manage and compile correspondence, reports, presentations, proposals, and documents.
6. Take and type minutes, reports, memos, schedules, presentations, etc., and distribute to relevant people.
7. Organise and coordinate internal and external meetings.
8. Arrange and confirm appointments with business associates.
9. Arrange travel and accommodation bookings as required.
10. Understand and execute briefs.
11. Gather, create and collate relevant marketing material, working alongside the marketing team to ensure product details, images, etc., are in line with company brand.
12. Serve as point of contact between external suppliers regarding design, layout, proofing, and corrections on proofs.
13. Corporate branding – including electronic and print media.
14. Perform and complete proposal-related responsibilities and projects as necessary.
15. Placing and following-up on quotes from approved suppliers.
16. Coordinate the flow of information, both internally and externally.
17. Interact and correspond with members, editorial, media, finance, marketing, and other advertising groups.
18. General office administration and clerical duties - distribution of mail and marketing materials to relevant staff; arrangements of courier services; implement and maintain office systems, record management, etc.
19. File and retrieve documents in accordance with the system.
20. General administration in support of proposals and projects.
21. Raising and processing purchase orders.

Salary: +- R28,000 to R35,000 ctc per month.
