VACANCY: INTEGRATED BUSINESS PLANNER
LOCATION: ISANDO 60% / BRYANSTON 40%

Job Objective
Drive the integrated business planning agenda to ensure every step the business takes is a step towards serving the business strategy. Manage the end-to-end business planning process within the business: sales planning, source planning, procurement planning and inventory planning.
Provide inputs into the cashflow forecast and the cost of goods sold.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure integrated business planning activities are aligned with business needs.
- Create short-, medium- and long-term operational forecasts for the sales, sourcing and procurement planning workstreams.
- Sales planning – generate credible monthly sales forecasts with the sales team and attain consensus within the business.
- Source planning – generate sourcing plans for own and external production entities.
- Conduct production smoothing exercises to prepare for maintenance shutdowns and peak preparation.
- Procurement planning – generate procurement forecasts for suppliers and provide inputs into the Procurement Officer's buying plan.
- Provide input into the cashflow forecast.
- Provide input into item COGS (cost of goods sold).
- Responsible for generating source and procurement plans to support new product launches, including sourcing of suppliers, new materials and price negotiation.
- Inventory planning – generate weekly replenishment plans to the various regions and ensure inventory levels are in support of the sales forecast.
- Provide input into weekly production plans, ensuring production prioritisation is in line with inventory holding policies, preventing overstocking and out of stocks.
- Manage stock ageing with the depots, ensure proper procedures are in place to reduce risk of losses.
- Responsible for the continuous updating of master data relating to finished goods, raw materials and bill of materials.
- Responsible for rolling out the selected Sales & Operations planning tool.
- Designated super user for the S&O tool and responsible for continuous training of employees on the tool, ensuring that the tool is used as intended.
- Support the Procurement Officer with Afrikaans speaking suppliers.
- Support the business on any ad hoc planning activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric.
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics or related field will be advantageous.
- Computer literacy MS Office package is essential.
- Must be fully proficient in Afrikaans (read, write, speak).
- Solid understanding of the requirements of an integrated business planner and the importance of the role in a complex organisation.
- Minimum of five years collective experience in all facets of Sales & Operations planning.
- Experience required in logistics, inventory management, production and supplier management.
- Experience required in master data management, particularly Bills of Materials and Finished Goods.
- Essential: highly computer literate, especially MS Excel, with minimum 3 years of experience in S&O planning systems and ERPs.
