A luxury hospitality group located in Cape Town is seeking a Rooi Restaurant Manager to oversee operations, maximize profitability, and ensure exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include budget management, colleague training, and maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ideal candidates have experience in restaurant management at a luxury property, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to service excellence. Oversee the operation of Rooi Restaurant. Rooi’s Manager to be in possession of the annual operating budget and is responsible for maximizing profitability, analyzing menu and products of the restaurant. Oversee colleague training and ensure guest service standards are met. Inspect the cleanliness and physical condition of equipment and furniture in the restaurant. Operate the daily restaurant operations and menu planning, maintain sanitation standards and assist colleagues on the floor during peak meal periods. Strive to continually improve guest and colleague satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility. Determine training needed to accomplish goals, and then implement the plan.
