Job summary
A leading procurement solutions company in Potchefstroom seeks a Procurement Administrator to manage software applications and support internal procurement processes. Responsibilities include handling quotations, ensuring timely deliveries, and assisting suppliers. The ideal candidate has a Grade 12 and relevant administration qualifications, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills. Applications close on 31 October 2025.
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment with a strong administrative background.
Responsibilities
- Daily follow up of quotations, deliveries, and purchase orders.
- Update expected delivery dates while keeping deadlines in mind.
- Ensure goods are delivered on time.
- Load purchase orders onto the system.
- Provide internal procurement support to representatives.
- Liaise with suppliers daily.
- Report on targets and challenges during weekly meetings.
Skills
Education
Administration of Procurement software and Zebra Systems (Jira Process Atlassian).
- Daily follow up of quotations, deliveries and purchase orders.
- Update expected delivery dates on the system while keeping deadlines or target dates of orders in mind.
- Ensure goods are delivered on time.
- Ensure purchase orders are loaded onto the system.
- Provide internal procurement support to reps: operate switchboard and handle all enquiries.
- Liaise with suppliers on a daily basis.
- Report on targets and challenges during the weekly meetings.
- Grade 12.
- Relevant Administration Qualification.
- Experience in procurement (manufacturing environment) with a strong administrative background.
- High quality of work and ability to meet deadlines.
- Competency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Fully bilingual, able to communicate effectively, with good writing skills.
- Well organised and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic understanding of technical issues.
