A leading international hotel chain is seeking a sales manager in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role involves soliciting and managing sales opportunities, developing strong relationships with clients, and executing effective sales strategies. The position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities for a sales cluster. Responsible for account management and acquisition on special corporate segment. Handles numerous accounts and the distribution channels for those accounts. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Achieves personal sales goals.
