Job summary
A leading roofing solutions company in Benoni is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business and manage client relationships. The role requires 5 years of sales experience in roofing or related sectors, strong technical skills, and a valid driver's license. You’ll be responsible for site assessments, preparing detailed quotations, and achieving sales targets. A competitive salary package including a commission is offered, along with additional perks such as a petrol allowance and company vehicle.

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, managing major clients, conducting site assessments, preparing quotations, and representing Sicon Group at a senior level.
- Generate new business and actively grow the company’s sales pipeline.
- Conduct site inspections, assessments, and gather technical information for quotations.
- Prepare and present detailed roofing, waterproofing, and performance coating quotations, including problem‑finding reports and recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and facility managers.
- Manage strategic accounts and provide professional after‑sales support.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Work closely with the operations, QS, and project teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
- Represent Sicon Group professionally at meetings, presentations, and site visits.
- Provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence to management.
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience (roofing, waterproofing, coatings, or related sectors essential).
- Strong technical understanding of industrial and commercial roofing systems.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to read drawings, BOQs, site reports, and interpret scopes of work.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, CRM, etc.).
- High level of professionalism, discipline, and self‑motivation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Experience working with property funds, asset managers, malls, facility management companies, architects, or quantity surveyors.
- Experience quoting large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
- Basic Salary: R40 000 – R50 000 per month (experience dependent)
- Commission: 5% of contract value exc Vat.
