A leading agricultural co-operative in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a proactive HR Admin Officer to manage HRIS, coordinate skills development, and oversee employee wellness initiatives. The ideal candidate has a degree in Human Resources, extensive SAGE 300 People experience, and a track record of compliance with SETA and BBBEE requirements. We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented HR Admin Officer to join our Corporate Services team. This multi‑functional role requires strong HRIS expertise, a passion for skills development, and a commitment to employee wellbeing. You will be a go‑to super user for SAGE 300 People, ensure compliance with SETA and certain BBBEE requirements, and coordinate impactful wellness initiatives across the organisation.
Act as a system super user, maintaining accurate employee and organisational data. Manage HRIS onboarding, employee movements, and lifecycle administration. Provide first‑line support to managers and employees on ESS functionality. Conduct data audits and generate HR & training reports.
Develop and maintain the annual Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and training plan. Coordinate training interventions, bursaries, and study assistance. Capture and track training records in SAGE 300 People. Prepare and submit ATR/WSP reports to FP&M SETA, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines. Support SETA audits, verifications, and BBBEE planning and audits. Maintain dashboards and monitor training budgets.
Promote and manage the Discovery Healthy Company Employee Assistance Programme. Co‑ordinate all group and individual wellness interventions. Organise annual wellness days and health initiatives. Drive well‑being campaigns and monitor engagement trends. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with POPIA.
