Overview
Hire Resolve has partnered with a Medical Billing company that provides medical practitioners with a range of medical account administration to find a Billing Agent Expert Leader to join their team in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities
- Patient data capturing
- Patient Billing for a variety of Specialist Doctors, Allieds, GP’s
- Have expert knowledge on charge codes and ICD-10 codes for all Specialists, Allieds and GP’s
- Receipts and distribution of billing
- Billing optimisation
- Understands the various medical aid agreements
- Ensure correctness of billing and abide by each practice’s agreement
- Billing queries
- Double-check correctness of billing before posting
- Recordkeeping of queries
- Keep up to date with new billing rules in the industry by any means necessary
- Follow the SAMA billing guide
- Review workflows to determine effectiveness and opportunities
- Excellent communicator
- Bill for all specialist doctors
Requirements
- Matric
- Basic and Intermediate ICD-10 coding advantageous
- 6+ years Experience
