- Evaluate and underwrite commercial insurance applications with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analyze risk factors and determine appropriate coverage and pricing for policies.
- Collaborate with brokers and clients to understand their insurance needs and provide expert advice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to enhance business partnerships.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing policies to ensure they meet client requirements and company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Underwriter in the insurance industry.
- RE and FAIS credits are mandatory.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in insurance underwriting software and MS Office Suite.
