Research Nurse: Obstetrics & Preeclampsia Studies
Job summary
A prominent educational institution in Stellenbosch is hiring a Research Nurse focused on pregnancy-related research. Candidates should be registered nurses with midwife qualifications and possess experience in intensive care settings. The role includes recruiting study participants and managing clinical procedures in a research environment. The position offers a two-year fixed contract with career growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- At least two years' applicable experience in a high care setting.
- Experience working in obstetrics and/or paediatrics is required.
- Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting and following up with study participants.
- Completing research notes and entering them into the electronic REDCap database.
- Performing clinical nursing procedures related to research studies.
