A health consortium in South Africa is seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage accounting and administrative tasks, specifically overseeing the petty cash process. The role requires at least 3 years of general administration experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office, along with relevant bookkeeping qualifications. This is a full-time position with a closing date for applications of 16 October.
BackgroundWits Health Consortium (Pty) Limited (WHC) is a wholly‑owned Company of the University of the Witwatersrand Johannesburg (South Africa) under its Faculty of Health Sciences. WHC provides Faculty with a legal framework within which to operate the research and other activities necessary to support its academic objectives. In addition WHC offers a range of products and services to Academics.
To carry out accounting and administrative duties and maintain the petty cash process.
Grade 12 with Accounting. Relevant Certificate in Bookkeeping or Finance will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years general administration experience.
