Job summary
A leading mining and construction firm is looking for a Production Manager in Springs, Gauteng. This role involves overseeing production quality, developing training aligned with operational needs, and ensuring compliance with QSHE policies. Candidates should have 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, a good understanding of OHS and ISO, and CNC programming skills. Qualifications
- Must have 5 years in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a machine and welding shop.
- Familiarity with OHS policies and ISO standards.
- CNC programming and machine setting skills are essential.
- Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of welding processes required.
Responsibilities
- Enforce time discipline and company rules.
- Ensure compliance with QSHE policies and 6S standards.
- Develop training plans based on operational needs.
- Oversee production quality and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage ordering of consumables and operational feedback.
- Conduct HIRA and monthly QSHE shares.
