Job summary

A leading logistics company in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced individual for stock management duties. You'll be responsible for signing for shipments, inspecting stock, sorting, and using forklifts for storage and order picking. Strong skills in asset management and compliance with health and safety regulations are essential for this full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct stock has been received and dispatched.
  • Thoroughly inspecting stock for any damages and discrepancies.
  • Sorting stock according to appropriate location for storage.
  • Picking stock as per order received for customers.
  • Using forklifts, high/low level order pickers, and reach trucks to unload, move, stack, store, and/or pick stock.
  • Always adhere to the relevant health and safety rules and regulations.
