Santam Operations, Commercial Contact Centre, has career opportunities for Insurance Consultants based in Hill on Empire. The role involves providing end-to-end service and support to brokers, including:

1. Servicing broker requests and inquiries
2. Providing telephonic and email support to intermediaries and authorized representatives
3. Handling general insurance and policy-specific inquiries
4. Issuing new policies, policy maintenance, renewals, and managing agricultural policies
5. Resolving insurance queries within required timeframes and compliance standards
6. Following up with clients when policies are canceled to understand reasons and retain policies
7. Adjusting premiums based on new asset values
8. Managing client expectations regarding turnaround times
9. Adhering to underwriting criteria and regional requirements
10. Profiling clients to recommend suitable products and underwriting options
11. Advising brokers to meet clients' needs with appropriate coverage
12. Implementing process improvements
13. Providing support during absences of other consultants

• Matric/Grade 12
• 60 commercial lines FAIS credits
• Relevant insurance qualification (e.g., NQF level 4) advantageous
• Proven experience in commercial and agricultural policy administration and underwriting in short-term insurance
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in short-term insurance commercial lines and/or agricultural assets

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and clients
• Adherence to quality, compliance, and accreditation standards
• Efficient administrative skills
• Ability to optimize work processes
