Job summary
A well-established stone manufacturing company in Gauteng is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer and Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming and operation, especially in the stone or glass sector. Responsibilities include programming a 5-axis CNC machine for stone cutting, interpreting CAD drawings, and ensuring quality and precision. This position offers a full-time role with a competitive salary based on experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer, preferably in the stone or glass industry.
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM programming.
- Exposure to Bavelloni or similar CNC machinery.

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on CNC Programmer and Operator to join a well-established stone manufacturing company in Kempton Park.
The role involves programming, setting up and operating a 5-axis CNC machine to cut and shape high-quality granite and marble for commercial and residential projects.
- Program, set up and operate a 5-axis CNC machine for stone cutting
- Read and interpret CAD drawings and specifications
- Prepare, load and position materials safely on the CNC machine
- Ensure quality and precision of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer preferably in the stone or glass industry
- Exposure to Bavelloni or similar CNC machinery
- CNC or CAD certificate from a technical or private college (Matric not required)
- Strong understanding of CAD / CAM programming
