The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Information Technology department within the BU, ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems, and leading a team of IT professionals. The IT Manager plays a crucial role in aligning IT initiatives with the overall business objectives, ensuring technology solutions support the organization's growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies and solutions for the BU that align with business objectives and country IT.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing and highly engaged IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Institute and implement processes to uplift the maturity and competency of IT team.
Technology Management: Consult Country IT and Region IT for technical and architecture guidance. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions and on-premise/cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. Stay current with technological advancements and recommend upgrades or improvements to existing systems. Ensure that proper documentation practices are adhered to. Ensures SLA of systems are upkept.
Cybersecurity, Data and Risk Management: Enforce compliance to cybersecurity policies and procedures in accordance to SGP's and PSA's policies and standards to safeguard the organization's data and IT assets.
Project Management: Work with stakeholders across functions and manage IT projects from conception to completion within the BU.
Vendor Management: Manage external IT vendors and service providers and ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
Data Analytics: Support SGP data-related projects by working with MESA region office and SGP Country IT to deliver necessary dashboards, reports and insights.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control within the BU as well as alignment to Country guidelines.
User Support and Training: Adhere to country ITSM practices and ensure timely resolution of user issues and inquiries by making use of ITSM ticketing system.
Reporting: Provide regular reporting and feedback to management and Country IT team, including monthly reports of IT performance based on IT metrics.
